Battle of the Bands: We finally Filmed today!
After a long time without taking any videos, we finally got some interviews in. We Interviewed a couple random people and asked them about their thoughts on Battle of the Bands. Some had a very strong opinion and others didn't say too much. We also interviewed Lori Belcher who put it together. We interviewed the band Damnage too, and they had a big opinion on the conflicts in Guatemala for some reason. It was pretty funny. Rebecca helped me, and Darren didn't. He was too busy doing something else that was "more important". Anyway, we got some interviews and we are planning on getting more over Spring break. Hopefully, Darren wont ditch us this time and he will help us out, finally.

Battle of the Bands Documentary:Still working on it O.o
I have been sick and out of school for about four days. this made it a little hard to work on the documentary with Rebecca and Darren. We plan to start filming tomorrow, and we will work on editing it over the break. Rebecca's family member has an apple computer thing and it has Imovie and stuff so we might be able to work on it during spring break. I hope we can, because we still have a lot of work to do. When we are finished, it's gonna be pretty awesome.

Battle of the Bands Documentary: Making the Survey Questions
Today we created the survey questions that we are going to ask the bands, people, and organizers. It took us a while, but we worked together on Google Docs and got about 7-10 questions for each survey. These are the questions that we are going to ask the bands, organizers, and people that went , so they are very important. I think we are going to start interviews either tomorrow or Friday, so I think it's going to pretty cool.

Battle Of the Bands Documentary;pitfalls and difficulties
Last night, I stayed up until 2am looking up information about all of the bands that played at battle of the Bands. I actually got a lot, i was very proud. :] We might have problems getting interviews with most of the bands that played. I know that we can get an interview with Lori and at least two of the bands,(Damnage and True At Heart). Also, we couldn't get any footage of the actual event, so that makes it a little hard. But we might be able to get footage from other people who recorded it.
Some arguments about this, is that there might not be one next year. Lori is graduating, so I don't know who would organize it. A lot of people at the school don't like rock, probably wouldn't want there to be another one. Also, some people think that the Shows like this are bad because of the Moshing and crazy stuff, but that's what makes it fun. I guess some people don't understand that. Other than that, we really aren't positive about any arguments about this.

Battle of the Bands Documentary; part two
This weekend, my partners and I went to Battle of the bands. It was a very fun and exciting place! We didn't really do a lot of research about it, but we plan to interview Lori and many of bands sometime early this week. By tomorrow, We will have a lot of information about all of the bands and yeah. Our documentary is going to be pretty sweet.
Our Project: Battle of the Bands Documentary
My group (Rebecca, Darren and myself :]) is going to do a documentary on Battle of the bands. It took place on March 16, 2007. We are going to interview some of the bands that played at the event,(Damnage, True at Heart, The Fake Exists, Unchained, DLF, and many others). The event was put together by Ms.Lori Belcher, a Senior at Capuchino High school. We are still gathering information about the different bands, and I will add more stuff here later. :]
