Okay today I went to go comment and look at my classmates blogs and whatnot. As I was wandering through Mr.Hinmans Pageflakes page, I bumped into Will's Blog and I read/commented his post on WARPED TOUR. Goodness it had a list of all of the bands that were playing and on what days they are playing. Dude, I'm all excited now. Will's post probably helped out alot of people who were not sure about what day they wanted to go and stuff. I wanna go I wanna go I wanna gooo. :]
Anyway, after Wills blog, I moved on to Katherine's Blog and read her post about her "family". I thought that that was a very pretty and nice blog. it had lots of pictures and it made me go "awh". She had alot of pictures there, and just by looking at them you could tell how close she was to her friends and family. They brightened up her page and whatnot.
After looking through Katherine's blog, i went to Angelina's Blog. As I looked through her posts, I saw that she had made one all about a podcast that I had made. She talked about well, what I said in my podcast about band and things. She liked how I talked, "She talks at a tone that keeps you interested. It sounds like she is having a great conversation with you." is what she said. I suppose that is a good thing. It's good to know that my work is appreciated. :]
Okay, so now I went onto Rebecca's Blog and it was very pink. I read her post on Mario Bros. She discusses all of the cheats and whatnot. She tells us that she is doing her podcast on the Mario bros song. Pretty Spiffy isn't it?
As I searched some more, I found Darren's Blog. I went to his post about paper bags. Wow he talked about paper bags for quite a bit. "Paper bags are one of the most fascinating things ever." was the first sentence of his long post. It's pretty interesting to me that someone can type about paper bags for such a long time. Personally, I like them only because you can make puppets out of them. Like in the Fandango commercials.
Well, that's the end of my little blog searching excursion. Goodbye and Have a nice day!

Lisas Podcast experience
Well, Making a podcast was alright. it's not my favorite thing to do, but I guess it was okay. I like making videos and whatnot alot more. My podcast was a little too long, but oh well, it happens. It had information and stuff in it so hopefully people learned from it. I'm really not sure what else to say about my experience other than it was alright. So, that's it. Goodbye. :]

Lisa's little Podcast Adventure.
Okay so today, the assignment was to listen to a couple of podcasts that were made by other students and write about them. So here I am. The first podcast I listened to was Will's podcast.
The first couple minutes of his podcast is just a little book talk about a book called Next by Michel Creaton. It's filled with science fiction facts and whatnot. Then he talked about some new device that Microsoft has just let out. It's the 360 Elite and it apparently had 120gigs of memory. That's pretty dang crazy. His interns were "out of line" and they took a commercial break and that was a little funny. it was supposed to continue, but it stopped working for some reason. I'm not really sure why, i waited for a while to see if it would load, but it never did. Oh well, so far, Will's podcast was pretty cool. I wonder what happens after the break, I guess I will never know.

The next podcast I listened to was by Lucas. He talked about the Giants and his views on the team and some accomplishments that they have made this season. At the beginning, he interviewed Jeff and asked him some questions about the giants and what he thought. After the Interview, Lucas began talking about Pedro Feliz and Barry Bonds. Apparently, Barry only needs eleven more home runs to tie the home run record. I wonder if he can really do it. You know, if he could, I think that would pretty spiffy. Lucas also said that this may be his last season. That would be pretty sad it it was. The giants are doing much better according to Lucas, and he said he thought it was because of the pitchers and whatnot. oh also someone named Malena on the giants had hit two home runs in the same inning! That hadn't been done for the past thirty years. Lucas podcast was pretty good. I learned alot about the Giants and stuff.

After that, I listened to Darren's interesting Blog about paper bags. I had no idea that someone could talk about paper bags for about three minutes. That's pretty tough. At the beginning of the podcast, Darren began to talk about how fascinating paper bags were and how they were like little portable trees. That was a little odd, but okay. he just kept talking and talking for a bit. Then he talked about how it takes four times more energy to make a paper bag than a plastic bag. That's a little weird. They are also bio-degradable, so it can turn back into soil which is good for the enviorment. He interviewed people about paper bags, and most of them preferred plastic. I think only one person liked paper more than plastic. Some reasons why people didn't like the paper was because it rips easily or plastic carries more than paper. Darren's podcast was kind of funny and interesting to listen to.

I was going to listen to another podcast, but I don't really have time to. Class ends in just a few minutes so that's all for now. Goodbye.

My Random Blog Post About the Band Trip
Well, today's assignment is to do a random blog post. So, I decided to do mine on the upcoming music trip for the music department. It's pretty cool, we are leaving on Friday May 11th at about 8:00am. We are taking a bus down to Anaheim to compete in a music competition thingy, the Heritage Festival. Concert Band, Orchestra, and Choir are all going to compete, so it's cool that we all get to go down there. We get to go to Disneyland while we are done there, so that's pretty spiffy. The awards ceremony is even in Disneyland. I really hope we win something, we have been working pretty dang hard all year. If we come back empty handed, I will be a bit upset. Oh well, I guess life is like that sometimes. Wish us luck anyway though. We will be back at about 11:00pm or midnight on Sunday, so don't worry, you shouldn't miss us too much. Lets see, what else should I say about it. Dude I wonder if we get to play for Mickey Mouse. That would be pretty awesome. Maybe he will even play with us. Actually, forget Mickey, the chipmunks are uber better. Well, I really don't know what else to say, so have a nice day everyone!

My findings on Del.icio.us :]
Well, today in class I was doing a little searching on a website called De.licio.us. It's a pretty spiffy website. Anyway, I searched for a bit, and I found some pretty useful webpages. The first place that I found was a webpage that has alot of podcasts on it teaching you how to speak European Languages. The main ones were French, German, Italian and Spanish.Click here to go look at it. It looks very useful and I think I might use it to learn how to speak Italian. This spiffy little website can help alot of people by giving them the resources that they need to learn an European Language using podcasts. There are a few places like this, but I thought that this was the most effective. Actually, I just found one that might be better. Click here to see the new one that I found. This one has many extra ways to learn languages instead of just listening to podcasts. It offers videos and quizes and whatnot. Scratch what I said about the other one, i think this one is a little better. I tagged both of these pages because I thought that in the near future when I am trying to Learn French & Italian, this would come in handy. Maybe I could start practicing now so when I start classes, I will be a bit ahead. Now wouldnt that be cool?
After I found these really cool web sites, i continued looking for more. So I looked and I looked at other things, and now It's already 3:04. Goodness time went by fast. Tagging things on De.licio.us takes more time than I thought. You forget what you were doing. Oh well, I hope those two websites are useful to some people who are reading this. Goodbyeee. :]

Another Blog About My Family.....-sigh-
Alright so here is my second blog about my family. I really don't like to talk about my family too much, but I don't want to get an F on this assignment, so I guess I have too. I consider my family as mainly my sister, my dad and my mom. I guess this is just because I usually live with them and I'm around them alot.Lets see,I suppose my family members have a couple unique characteristics.
My sister is a freaking eleven year old genius. She's in the fifth grade and gets straight A+'s on everything. She even got a perfect 600 on the math portion of her star test last year. That's some crazy stuff right there. She tries to be perfect at everything though. So, she has some anger problems. She throws some of the worst temper tantrums that I have ever seen in my life. She's super quiet, and is only ever talkative around me for some reason.
My Mom is an interesting person. She is very hardworking and stuff like that. Very nice to people, and she trys very hard. But sometimes, my mom...well,i just get upset with her. I wont say why because I really don't want to talk about that kind of thing on a school assignment. So I'll just say that she causes me alot of unwanted stress when we are at home, and not because she is "annoying" or anything. She caused things in the past too, and yeah. I still love her though, just sometimes, I really don't want to live with her.
My dad is uhm, odd. He hunts, he works at City Hall and has been working for the police for many years and stuff. He's nice i guess, but he is very stubborn. He has to have everything his way or it's not right. He is also obsessed with my sister. He will make her go places with him, or he will baby her, and all of that. I'm slightly ignored, but that actually makes me happy I really don't want to be smothered with attention from my dad. He makes me really upset sometimes.
My family, well we don't really do anything together. For Thanksgiving, my sister, my mom and I went to Disneyland. That's pretty much it. i don't really do anything with my dad because I really don't like to. I guess we go to the shooting range once in a while, but we haven't done that for a while. Other than that, we never do anything all together as a family. When I'm at my dads, I just eat dinner in my room, same at my moms. But I guess we still are a family, somehow.
Okay so here are some pictures of my family:

This is my Dad, he wasnt really too happy when this was being taken.

This is my mom. She's playing with my doggy.

This is my sister, trying to be all gangster cool and whatnot.

Earth Day...?
Woah it was earth day on monday? I had no idea. Well, anyway, all I really know about earth day is that it is a day when you should respect and be nice to the earth. no littering, do being mean to the earth, do cutting down trees and stuff. I was looking for more information on it, so I went to the website at the bottom of the page to find information. I learned that it is usually held in the spring. This year, it was on Monday, April 22nd. The first Earth Day was on April 22, 1970 and it was started by a Mr.Gaylord Nelson. Now, it is very popular all over the world. I dont really know what else to say about it, and I cant go get a video, so thats it. Goodbye.

Fuzzy Logic
Okay, well, Fuzzy Logic is a lot like binary code (the thing with zeros and ones) but it is better in many ways. Fuzzy Logic kind of copies the way the human brain thinks and solves problems and things like that. Without Fuzzy Logic, we would still be using zeros and ones and that is a little more complicated. It actually uses a bunch of easy rules based on experiences to work. Humans do that too, so you know it's pretty cool. Also, it's lot cheaper to produce.
I think Fuzzy Logic would be a lot easier to use than Binary code. It just seems so much easier to use logic than on off zero and one switches. That would give me a really bad brain ache.Fuzzy Logic uses percentages and that's a little easier. Since the creation of Fuzzy Logic, it has spread all over the world. Now, most of the Fuzzy Logic experts are in China! That's pretty cool now isn't it?
Fuzzy Logic will change the way technology is now. It just shows that technology is going to keep getting more and more advanced and someday, It's going to be crazy cool. Hover Cars, Robots that talk to you,and all of that good stuff. :]

A Blog About Families
A family is an important part of every persons life. For some people, a family can be a lot of people that love and support you. For others, their families aren't always there for them. even if your adopted, you still have an family and everything. They take care of you and things like that. I have a small family circle. most of the time, they actually give me a lot of unwanted stress. I guess my main circle is just my mom, my dad, and my little eleven year old year sister named Laurie. After a bunch of years of fighting in the house and whatnot, they finally got divorced last year. So, now me and my sister switch from my moms house to my dads house every week. It was a pain at first, but after a while you get used to it i guess.
I'm not really that close to the rest of my family. my relatives that live closest to me live about four hours away, and they and the rest of them live all the way in Japan. I never ever get to see my family in Japan, I've met them about, maybe once or twice. My other family, well, they have a lot of problems too.So my main family circle is pretty much just me, my sister, my mom and my dad. Usually my family is okay, but a lot of the time, it's really upsetting. I'd rather not talk about all of my family issues on here, so I'm not going to go into detail about anything else.
Well, I'm not exactly sure what a generation is, but it sounds important. I'm going to guess it means something about how many years your family has been in this country or whatever, because I really don't know. my mom came here all by herself from japan when she was like...25. My dad grew up in California and stuff. because of my mom, technically I'm a Japanese citizen, she told me that the other day. Cool isn't it?
"Families evolve from a patchwork of possibilities" is an interesting quote. I think it means that a family can help you get through anything most of the time. They help you out when you are going through tough times, and they will always stick together like butter on toast. I guess this is kind-of true for my family. I guess we kind-of stick together, but usually they are the cause of my troubles or when I'm sad, it's usually because of something that they did. -sigh-
Okay yeah i really don't want to talk about it anymore, so goodbye. Have a nice day. Don't let the door hit you on the way out.

What we learned...
Okay yeah i'm a little upset because i put the whole project on the wrong disk. Goodness that was stupid. -sigh- Well, anyway, I learned alot from this project. I learned about many of the different bands actually come from the school. There is a lot of talent here. Also, I learned that people who went to battle of the Bands had many different opinions about it. Some loved it and would go again in a heartbeat, and others didnt like it as much. I'm really upset that no one could watch it though, people would have learned alot about all of the talent here at Capuchino.
While watching the other projects, I learned alot about videogames, racism and abortion. I thought it was really interesting and It had alot of information.
