Lisa's little Podcast Adventure.

Okay so today, the assignment was to listen to a couple of podcasts that were made by other students and write about them. So here I am. The first podcast I listened to was Will's podcast.

The first couple minutes of his podcast is just a little book talk about a book called Next by Michel Creaton. It's filled with science fiction facts and whatnot. Then he talked about some new device that Microsoft has just let out. It's the 360 Elite and it apparently had 120gigs of memory. That's pretty dang crazy. His interns were "out of line" and they took a commercial break and that was a little funny. it was supposed to continue, but it stopped working for some reason. I'm not really sure why, i waited for a while to see if it would load, but it never did. Oh well, so far, Will's podcast was pretty cool. I wonder what happens after the break, I guess I will never know.

The next podcast I listened to was by Lucas. He talked about the Giants and his views on the team and some accomplishments that they have made this season. At the beginning, he interviewed Jeff and asked him some questions about the giants and what he thought. After the Interview, Lucas began talking about Pedro Feliz and Barry Bonds. Apparently, Barry only needs eleven more home runs to tie the home run record. I wonder if he can really do it. You know, if he could, I think that would pretty spiffy. Lucas also said that this may be his last season. That would be pretty sad it it was. The giants are doing much better according to Lucas, and he said he thought it was because of the pitchers and whatnot. oh also someone named Malena on the giants had hit two home runs in the same inning! That hadn't been done for the past thirty years. Lucas podcast was pretty good. I learned alot about the Giants and stuff.

After that, I listened to Darren's interesting Blog about paper bags. I had no idea that someone could talk about paper bags for about three minutes. That's pretty tough. At the beginning of the podcast, Darren began to talk about how fascinating paper bags were and how they were like little portable trees. That was a little odd, but okay. he just kept talking and talking for a bit. Then he talked about how it takes four times more energy to make a paper bag than a plastic bag. That's a little weird. They are also bio-degradable, so it can turn back into soil which is good for the enviorment. He interviewed people about paper bags, and most of them preferred plastic. I think only one person liked paper more than plastic. Some reasons why people didn't like the paper was because it rips easily or plastic carries more than paper. Darren's podcast was kind of funny and interesting to listen to.

I was going to listen to another podcast, but I don't really have time to. Class ends in just a few minutes so that's all for now. Goodbye.
